Designed for everyday carry (EDC) enthusiasts, the KATARA-16™ backpack gives you best-in-class organization for your everyday essentials. A two-shoulder design can be converted into a single shoulder sling bag, allowing for quicker access to your most important personal items.
The backpack is designed with everyday functionality in mind: The top pocket features a zippered compartment, elastic webbing organization, a slip pocket, and a loop field for ID patches. Hypalon MOLLE-Air side panels let you attach our HYDRA™ Bottle Holder or MOLLE accessories. The bottom pocket is lined with high visibility orange ripstop nylon, and has room for an iPad Mini, wallets, phones etc.
Behind this pocket is a hidden hook-and-loop accessory compartment. The outside of the pocket has a low-profile laser-cut CORDURA MOLLE-Air panel for modular attachments.

Inside the KATARA™, a padded sleeve for tablets (up to 12") can be accessed from the top, or both sides of the pack. This sleeve also doubles as a hydration bladder pocket. The sleeve is lined with loop fabric for your hook-and-loop accessories.
A top zippered pocket provides easy access to frequently used items. Below it, an unique "three-way" convertible pocket can be opened from sides with a flap top closure. When rolled down, it reveals a large loop field for attaching more hook-and-loop accessories. There are two side internal pockets with elastic retention for medical gear, knives, flashlights, or your everyday supplies.

The back panel lets you remove and switch shoulder straps to set up your KATARA™ as a right- or left-shoulder sling bag for quicker access. Shoulder straps are secured with hook-and-loop fasteners, durable Duraflex buckles and G-hooks. This innovative design gives you the flexibility of having multiple bags in one package.
For the ideal balance of weight and strength, we use ultra-durable CORDURA nylon with DWR (Durable Water Repellent) for exceptional all-weather performance.
